Resveratrol is found in a variety of fruit and vegetable plants. Red grapes and red wine are the main natural Resveratrol sources. As red wine is made by fermenting whole grapes, it contains much Resveratrol. Compared to white wine, the fermentation period in the process of making red wine is longer. Thus red wine contains more resveratrol than white wine.

Resveratrol is present in the seeds of strawberries and not in the pulp. Small amounts of this antioxidant are found in eucalyptus, spruce, mulberries and lilies. Berries like cranberries and blueberries are also considered as good sources of resveratrol.

Peanuts contain good amount of resveratrol. An invasive weed, Japanese Knotweed is sometimes used as an alternate for rhubarb, contains good amount of resveratrol. Many supplement manufacturers use this weed as a natural source of resveratrol.
